Taron Egerton won the “Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy” at the 2020 Golden Globes. He’s also been nominated for the “Best Leading Actor” 2020 BAFTA Film Award and “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role” for the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Elton John and Bernie Taupin also won “Best Original Song – Motion Picture” at the Golden Globes for the film’s original song “I’m Gonna Love Me Again”. Rocketman has a load more award nominations for 2020, not just for Egerton’s performance and the original song, but also a lot of nominations going to Elizabeth Yianni-Georgiou for her incredible hair and makeup design for the film and similarly, Julian Day for the costume design.
