Following the Chief Minister’s announcement concerning measures to prevent and delay the spread of the coronavirus Covid-19 on the Island, the Directors of the Centenary Centre came to the difficult decision to close the Centre from midnight Wednesday March 18th for the foreseeable future.
We made this decision to keep our volunteers and visitors safe.
We will re-open when the Government’s measures are lifted and life returns to something resembling “normality”.
We will re-schedule upcoming shows, films and events wherever possible. If you have already bought tickets, we would be pleased if you wanted to keep them and use them at the re-scheduled event. Alternatively, we completely understand if you would prefer a refund; please use the same route as when you purchased the tickets – either online or by visiting the outlet from which you purchased them.
We will miss seeing everyone during this difficult period, and so we will keep in touch through occasional newsletters and Facebook posts. To keep all our spirits up a little, we hope to put some “virtual” events online such as clips of shows, online quizzes etc. So do watch this space (and sign up for our newsletter)!
Finally, we would encourage everyone to follow the Government’s advice, to limit the spread of this virus and protect particularly the most vulnerable members of our community.
