Yn Chruinnaght Celtic Gathering is delighted to open the festival with an exciting blend of the latest Scottish and Manx music!
Vibrant Scottish six-piece HEISK are a powerful new force on the folk scene, featuring the Isle of Man’s very own Isla Callister!
By infusing Scottish roots with contemporary energy and a mission to amplify the voices of women and gender minorities in the traditional music scene, HEISK’s journey is an inspiring narrative of musical excellence, diversity, and empowerment.
Combining the rich traditions of the Isle of Man with the varied sounds of synth pop and Eurofolk, Elizabeth Davidson-Blythe & Daniel Quayle have forged a sound that is both dramatic and compelling.
Tickets also available to buy in Celtic Gold and Mannin Music, Peel.

An Irish language music documentary presented by Yn Chruinnaght Celtic Gathering with Films in Peel.
A crew of explorers takes to the beloved, sacred Camino de Santiago – not by land but by sea – in this evocative, immersive documentary by director Dónal Ó Ceilleachair (Aisling Gheal, Ó Chúil Aodha go hÓileán Í). The adventurers, including a writer, two musicians, an artist and a stonemason, take to the waters in a traditional boat, a Naomhóg, which they built themselves.
With grateful thanks to Dónal Ó Céilleachair and the Irish Film Institute, Culture Ireland and Arts Council Ireland.
