Peel Pantoloons Presents – Robinson Crusoe! @ Centenary Centre
Dec 11 @ 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm

Pirates, Robinson Crusoe, a treasure map and a dame. Plus a group of anarchic elderly people from a cruise ship that have arrived at Skull Island. The recipe for pantomime mayhem!

Robinson Crusoe finds a treasure map and decides to make his fortune so he can marry his true love, Polly Perkins. He accidentally becomes part of a pirate crew, who also want to find the treasure. They get shipwrecked and meet King Neptune at the bottom of the sea. Robinson survives and washes up on Skull Island. On the Island he meets Miss Friday, a Cruise liner rep, in charge of a group of older holidaymakers who are very rowdy and often drunk.

The map gets passed around (or was it stolen?) and everyone is now looking for the treasure! Who will find it first? And what special treasure is in the trunk when they eventually find it?

Join Peel Pantoloons for a funny romp with pirate fights, some silly slapstick, and a parrot who thinks he is the best actor in the world… Oh yes he is lovies!

Michael Kelly’s Haunted Dolls
Mar 19 @ 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

A spooky storytelling magic show, featuring ghost stories and some very eerie experiences with haunted dolls.

About this event

Michael Kelly is a magician specialising in haunted magic and a master storyteller of ghostly stories.

Here he combines his passions for eerie narrative and shares a number of unsettling ghost stories accompanied by unnerving paranormal effects.

He then demonstrates exactly how an object may become haunted, infused with the memory of a traumatic event, before introducing an escalating series of spine chilling tales of dolls with frightening powers. Finally, at the show’s conclusion, the most sinister doll in the world takes the stage…

Note: the tone is kept quite light, but the tales and demonstrations inevitably enter some eerie territory and can be quite frightening to some. As such, although accompanied children who love ghost stories are welcome, this show may not be suitable for younger children or those of a more nervous disposition. Parental discretion is advised.

Simon & Garfunkel: Through The Years – Performed by Bookends @ Centenary Centre
May 6 @ 8:00 pm – 10:15 pm

Critically acclaimed as one of the world’s greatest tribute shows, Simon & Garfunkel Through The Years continues to delight audiences across the globe. Featuring stunning vocal harmonies from world-class musicians, this spectacular concert transports you on a journey through the epic songs and history of the much-loved Simon and Garfunkel.

“One of the greatest tribute shows anywhere in the world”

Stuart Cameron, BBC and ITV Broadcaster

The show follows the story of the incredible rise to fame of two boys from Queens, New York, who went on to become the most successful folk-rock duo of the 1960s, selling 38 million albums in the US alone, and receiving 10 Grammy Awards. In 1981, they performed to over half a million people in their hometown of New York, and in 1990 were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Collectively known as Bookends, Dan Haynes and Pete Richards have been fronting Simon & Garfunkel Through The Years since its creation in 2011. Much like their idols, they became friends at school and could not resist singing together from a tender age.

Alongside stops in London’s West End, the show has toured extensively around the UK, Europe, United States and Australia, attracting packed houses night after night. With consecutive sell-out runs since 2014 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, they are championed as “one of the best vocal groups touring today”, whose sounds are ‘’simply breathtaking’’.

Featuring all the major hits such as The Sound of Silence, Mrs Robinson, The Boxer and the iconic Bridge Over Troubled, don’t miss out on this phenomenal show.

“A real masterpiece”
