Shennaghys Jiu Presents: A Celtic Music ShowcaseSunday 5th April – Afternoon Concert
Experience a vibrant afternoon of Celtic music celebrating tradition and innovation from across the Celtic world. High-energy Glasgow outfit TRIP bring their electrifying blend of Scottish, Irish, Manx and Northumbrian tunes, delivered with powerful rhythms and infectious flair. From Galicia, master musician Xosé Liz joins rising star Antía Franco Caaveiro for a captivating performance rooted in rich Galician tradition and virtuosity. Completing the programme, the Killarney School of Music showcases the next generation of talent with uplifting performances from one of Ireland’s leading music schools. An inspiring, foot-tapping celebration of Celtic music not to be missed.

Si Cranstoun is making a very welcome and long overdue return to the Centenary Centre for an evening packed with his jive classics. The distinctive tenor highs of Si Cranstoun’s voice echo that of Jackie Wilson and Sam Cooke. This amazing show is a highly charged toe tapping journey, driven by retro dance rhythms and spearheaded by Si Cranstoun’s ability to write songs that could have been hits in the fifties.
Si Cranstoun is known as King of the Vintage Scene by his energetic live performances and his ability to turn every show into a party. Aficionados of classic music are in for a night to remember and will be blown away by the pure quality of this wonderful showman.
