Yes, it’s party time at the Peel Centenary Centre as we welcome back “Retrospect” for an evening crammed with timeless classics from the likes of Jackie Wilson, The Commitments, Aretha Franklin through to more modern powerhouse standards – all guaranteed to make you get onto the dance floor and stay there!
“Retrospect” is a local 11-piece function band which has brought together some of the Island’s finest musical talent. Comprised of a standard rhythm section (i.e. Keyboard, Drums, Bass and Guitar) together with a full ‘Horn Section’ (Trumpet, Alto Sax, Tenor/Baritone Sax and Trombone) and fronted by three very talented singers, Retrospect delivers a complete and rich sound, reproducing with some precision, the sound and feel of the artists that they cover. The band has received critical acclaim for the quality of its performances.
Because (as with previous years) there will be a dance floor, overall capacity will be reduced to 170 tickets, so don’t wait too long to get your tickets!

The legendary Harry Manx makes a welcome return to Peel for the last in the series of events booked by our dear friend Jonathan “Jonno” Gollow, before his very sudden and sad passing earlier this year.
Harry Manx is a Canadian musician who blends blues, folk music, and Hindustani classical music. He describes his music as being a “blend Indian folk melodies with slide guitar blues, add a sprinkle of gospel and some compelling grooves and you’ll get Manx’s unique “mysticssippi” flavour.”
This one is for you Jonno.
Tickets are available now for this show online, or at our usual outlets.
Chris Wood is one of the best songwriters the British Isles has ever produced. Multiple Radio 2 Folk Award Nominee/Winner, you are guaranteed an evening of great songs and humour.
Chris Difford of Squeeze said “if I had a towel I’d throw it in!”
